Allamanda Hotel

Located on the beach at Anse Forbans at the south east end of the island, the Allamanda is a small, recently built, modern hotel in very pleasant surroundings. A comfortable, friendly family atmosphere with good service particularly in the bar at sundowner time.

Accommodation. 10 spacious rooms, 6 with sea views, all with en-suite continental bathrooms, air conditioning plus ceiling fan, coffee and tea making facilities, hair dryer , telephone and a fridge.
Facilities. The hotel has a comfortable and airy restaurant with a very good reputation and a large lounge and bar area. The management is very attentive to guests needs, offering advice on local attractions and will arrange guided walks, taxis and hire cars on request.
Local Attractions. Anse Intendance, arguably the best beach on Mahé with superb snorkelling in the right conditions, and the spice gardens of Jardin du Roi at Anse Royale, are close although not within easy walking distance. There are several coastal and mountain walks in the area.
