A new luxury development open in March 2003 on a large, uninhabited granite island. North Island is one of the most scenic in the Seychelles. The steep granite hills at either end contrast with a wide, fertile valley in between covered in indigenous forest and palms all surrounded by long beaches and sheer rock cliffs. In all providing endless walks and stunning views of Mahe in the distance and neighbouring Silhouette, with swimming, snorkelling, and diving all year round.
The intention is to restore the island to its natural state; re-introducing lost flora and fauna which includes the Seychelles giant tortoise and endangered endemic birds. The lodge style and position is designed to maintain an ecological synergy with the island. The Villas are built among the trees along the beach, each maintaining privacy and blending into the natural surroundings, creating an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. The accent of the whole concept is of an empathy with nature and when fully established will rank amongst the world’s finest.

Accommodation. 12 villas, each built secluded and private overlooking the sea. The villas are fully self contained and are constructed with each room as a separate entity around a spacious and comfortable sitting and dining area, all on a raised wooden deck with a private plunge pool. A few steps lead directly onto the beach.
Facilities. Main dinning room overlooking the pool and pool deck, bar, comfortable lounge, library and research centre.
